1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing www.kayceanstudio.xyz or engaging the services of Kaycean Studios (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.

2. Services

We provide professional photography and videography services for weddings, pre-wedding shoots, corporate events, family portraits, product shoots, and related occasions. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and price for each engagement are set out in your individual booking agreement or quotation.

3. Bookings & Payments

• A booking is confirmed only upon payment of the agreed advance/retainer.
• The retainer reserves your date and is applied toward the total fee.
• The balance is payable as specified in your booking agreement, typically before final delivery.
• Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes as stated in the quotation.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate event details, schedules, and venue access in good time;
• Obtain any permissions required to photograph at the venue;
• Ensure a safe working environment for our team;
• Designate a point of contact to coordinate on the event day.

6. Intellectual Property & Copyright

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Kaycean Studios retains the copyright to all photographs and videos we create. Upon full payment, you receive a personal, non-commercial licence to use, print, and share the delivered images for personal purposes. Commercial use, resale, or editing of our work requires our prior written permission.

7. Portfolio & Promotional Use

We may use selected images from your event in our portfolio, website, and social media for promotional purposes, subject to the consent provisions in our Privacy Policy. You may opt out by notifying us in writing.

8. Delivery

Edited photographs and videos are delivered within the timeframe stated in your booking agreement. Delivery timelines may be affected by the scope of work, peak season, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for delays caused by such factors.

9. Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution to deliver excellent results, we are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control, including equipment failure, venue restrictions, weather, or acts of God. In the unlikely event of a total failure to deliver due to circumstances within our control, our liability is limited to a refund of the amounts paid for the affected service. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, illness, government restrictions, or other emergencies. In such cases we will work in good faith to reschedule.

11. Website Use

Content on this Site is provided for general information only. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content, including images, without our written permission. We may modify or discontinue parts of the Site at any time.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu, India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with an updated date.
